A Leader in Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ), I am passionate about people and achieving the best SHEQ outcomes for all of my colleagues, friends and family. Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing is core to my beliefs.

Currently working in logistics I have wide experience in Oil and Gas, renewable energy and shipping. A thought leader in behavioural safety and NLP, it’s my belief that engagement and communication are key elements in achieving continuous improvement performance in SHEQ. Leading safety teams across the UK, Europe as well as Qatar and UAE.

Chair of the IOSH Logistics and Retail Committee, a role which I am thoroughly committed to and extremely honoured to have, I am working with my colleagues on the committee and IOSH to make logistics and retail a much safer place to work. Delivering thought provoking and inspirational webinars, briefings and conferences for IOSH is just the beginning.

Securing year on year reductions in Lost Time Accidents, Vehicle accidents, increasing engagement and competence and of all colleagues and influencing SHEQ decisions at Board level are all achievements that I’m proud of. You can have all the values you wish, If they mean nothing to colleagues they will not embrace or live those values.

Working together with fellow safety practitioners to build safety improvement programmes is one of the great joys of being in this most rewarding of professions. There can be no better reward than seeing my colleagues grow and achieve whilst helping people to return home safely.
