Essential to our ecosystem, trees are often referred to as the ‘lungs’ of the Earth because they are able to store carbon and produce additional oxygen for our planet. Stabilising the soil, trees also reduce air temperature and humidity, as well as improving water quality and reducing flooding, which is something we all see more and more of today.

A typical tree can absorb around 21 kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, and they provide habitats for all sorts of native species.

Almost everyone is now aware of climate change and the increasing amounts of CO2 in our atmosphere and the harm this is doing. So here at MY Compliance Management, we have decided to do a little bit more to help our planet.

The team here at MY Compliance Management recently planted one tree for each of our clients, and with more than 300 clients we have been able to create a new habitat for some of our native wildlife, in addition to helping to reduce atmospheric CO2.

At the time we called out to our clients to donate additional trees and we have been overwhelmed by the response as this enabled us to plant a hundred more trees.

It's such a great idea that we have decided to do this every year, planting an additional tree for every new customer - and we will keep you posted on their progress.
