A groundbreaking initiative, the ‘Fair Culture Charter’, which builds psychological safety into Southeastern’s working environment, was signed by 150 Southeastern employees on November 2022. All 4,500 personnel are covered by the charter’s aims and ambitions.
By 2023 PPWD had run courses that included 4,235 Southeastern personnel. Their ongoing commitment to Southeastern safety culture continuous improvements and management of risk included the development of annual Operations Learning Review Courses to encourage leadership and revise managerial skills and delivery of Investigator/Learning Review Courses for Train and Passenger Service personnel.
