The COTF traffic light shows safe lifting parameters on the crane in a format which is instantly recognisable across the world. The system is set up with percentages of the WLL limit, with green light indicating safe operating parameters (eg 0-90% of WLL), turning yellow when the load reaches above 90% and eventuall red when the crane is about to be overloaded, offering clear indications to operators of the safe parameters of the crane.
