Compass Pro Emergency Response System
The Compass Pro ERS (Emergency Response System) is trusted by thousands of fi eld workers worldwide for its ability to enhance safety and efficiency. This state-of-the-art companion device offers a broad range of prevention and response capabilities, including:
- Voltage & Current Detection
- Fall Detection
- Arc Flash Detection
Impact to Head
• Real-time electrical hazard detection – The Compass Pro ERS features an advanced early warning system designed to detect the presence of potentially hazardous voltage and current levels. This safety feature provides users with a clear audio visual alert to help prevent exposure to line equipment. As the detector approaches a live area, it emits an increasingly rapid beeping sound, while an integrated LED light strip illuminates in the direction of the detected electrical source, offering precise and intuitive guidance for enhanced safety.
• Fall alerts and SOS capabilities – The Compass Pro ERS will detect falls
from above 6 feet and an impact to the head. The detector can be programmed to send an alert to a contact group detailing the occurrence type to speed up the emergency response.
• Lone Working: Integrated Alarm System - The integrated SOS button can be manually activated to send a distress alert to the group accompanied with precise GPS coordinates. If the user feels threatened or has an incident, they can activate the alarm to request an immediate response.
• Location Detection – The Compass Pro ERS will send a live location to a pre determined user or group of contacts.
• Customisable Settings – Voltage & Current Range 120VAC-500kVAC, Voltage & Current Detection Proximity Range, Alerts (mute audio alerts) and more.
• Attachments – Helmet Mount, Wrist Strap & Pole Mount.
• Long Run Time - Up to 5 days (40+ Hours)
Directional Voltage Notifications
When the COMPASS Pro device has gathered sufficient information to approximate the location of an energised voltage source, the LED alert animation will change from PROXIMITY to DIRECTIONAL mode. In directional mode, the LEDs make a sweeping animation that guides the User’s attention to the approximate direction of the source.
• Directional cues have a 240° dynamic bearing range. Accurate to approximately +10° from a point source.
• Directional animation will stop when the fi eld becomes balanced, and RED lights will fl ash at both ends of the light bar. If the field is balanced for more than 2 seconds, directional alerts mode will end, and regular alerts will be issued.
