SSG offer this course over one day as a classroom course.

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states that “every employer shall train those of his employees who are, or who are liable to be, exposed to asbestos or those who supervise or manage such employees.”

This could include, but is not limited to, carpenters, plumbers, maintenance workers, cable installers (phones, computers, alarms), shopfitters, demolition operatives, painters and decorators, architects or surveyors.

Delegates attending this course must have completed a half-day asbestos awareness session within the six months prior to attending this course and must be able to provide a copy of their UKATA certificate.

Refresher course also available - The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states that “refresher training should be given at least every year.” Therefore, anyone who has carried out the Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative course will require this annual refresher.
