The APL Tripod is an aluminium lightweight multi-user tripod designed for man riding, fall arrest and rescue and comes with three quick fit brackets.

The APL Tripod is intended to be used for the lifting and lowering of equipment and personnel or as an anchor point for fall arrest for the prevention of falls. For personnel protection the tripod must be used in conjunction with certified fall arrest equipment.

The APL Tripod complies with EN 795: 2012 (Type B) for attachment of 1 user and with CEN/TS 16415: 2013 (Type B) for the protection of up to 6 persons simultaneously.

The APL Tripod has multiple adjustment points and has a fully extended height of 2.56m making it ideal for many applications.

The APL Tripod can also be used for lifting goods to a maximum capacity of 500kg but this should never be done whilst people are in suspension.
